Bumped into one of our local heroes on the Strand today. Prof Ian Wronski is Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Medicine at JCU & Board Member of Townsville Hospital. He has dedicated his career to bringing a workforce of health care providers, education and research to our region. He was awarded Officer of the Order of Australia yesterday. And he's a nice guy too!
